Are you curious about what to expect during TRI AMSTERDAM? You will receive the extended version of the athletes information in the week prior to the race. Read some practical information below!


The start of TRI AMSTERDAM can be found at Park Somerlust in Amsterdam. The finish can be found at Bella Vista Park in Amsterdam.

For parking: there is parking possibilities around the Daniel Goedkoopstraat.
We ask not to park in the streets next to the event location to minimize impact on people living in the vicinity.


On Sunday the 9th of June it is your turn to take on the challenge of TRI AMSTERDAM. You can participate in the 1/8 Distance,  Standard Distance and the Middle Distance triathlon. The distances for the 1/8, Standard and Middle Distance are as follows:

  • 1/8 distance triathlon: 500 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
  • Standard distance triathlon: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
  • Middle distance triathlon: 1900 m swim, 90 km bike, 21 km run


In and around the race area are toilets and restaurants. The expo is also placed on this terrain.

Your supporters are welcome here to encourage you. Alongside the course and after the finish, there is plenty of opportunity for your supporters to cheer you on.

Pick up bib numbers

8th June 2024: Registration for Sprint and Standard Distance. So on the day before the event.

9th June 2024: on the day of the event, it is possible for Standard & Sprint distance to register until 60min before start time.

At the Registration desk, you can collect your bib number and receive a package from us with all the necessities. What’s included exactly? You can read all about it on this page.


Don’t you have a racing bike? No problem!

Especially for the participants of TRI AMSTERDAM a discounted rate for renting is offered. You can rent a racing bike by indicating this when you register for €50.-.


As soon as the latest temperature is known, we will post it on our Facebook page and on this website. The rules for wearing a wetsuit:

– Temperature below 15 degrees: wetsuit required

– Temperature between 15 and 22 degrees: wetsuit not required, but allowed

– Temperature above 22 degrees: wetsuit prohibited

When you register it is possible to rent a wetsuit for €40,-. Already registered, but still need a wetsuit? No problem! Until the registration closes on Thursday 6th June 2024, you can still log in to your Njuko environment and rent a wetsuit.


Don’t you feel like changing clothes between the different disciplines? Then a tri-suit is the solution! In a tri-suit you easily complete all parts of the triathlon.
