20. Should I practice transitioning?
You’ve trained hard in swimming, cycling, and running to achieve a fantastic performance in your triathlon. It would be a real shame to waste a lot of time transitioning between the different events. That’s why we definitely recommend practicing transitions.
We offer transition clinics at several of our races. During these clinics, you’ll receive instruction from an experienced triathlete and have the opportunity to thoroughly practice the various aspects of a good transition. You’ll receive tips on how to properly store your gear and practice walking with your bike in hand. This way, you’ll feel even more confident at the start of your first triathlon.
